Lambrook goes to London

On Monday, 13th April, Lambrook class had an amazing adventure. They left at 8am to travel via Fleet Services to the Victoria and Albert Museum. As part of their Peter Pan topic, they have been studying the designs and creations of Alexander McQueen.

Mr Travitzky wrote

to the Alexander McQueen foundation to tell them what Lambrook had been up to, and by return of post they were sent a wonderful collection of books and leaflets. You may remember our Peter Pan Fashion Show, the result of the children's designs inspired by what they had seen.

They were then invited to visit the exhibition at the V and A, free of charge. The coach was subsidised by FOBS and the school.

Mr Travitzky said it was the best trip he had ever been on. The children were given many compliments by the general public for their behaviour, and their interest in what they were seeing.

On return to school at 7pm, it was clear that they had had an Ab Fab day.

Well done Lambrook class, and thank you to the adults who looked after the children.
