Shakespeare Week

Last Week, starting with Monday, 16th March, the whole school took part in National Shakespeare Week.  Each class approached the week in different ways, with a wide range of activities suitable for all ages and abilities. The week culminated in an assembly during our Sharing Afternoon, where parents were invited to watch each class perform a different play. Lambrook performed a much abridged version of The Tempest, Russet class perfomed extracts from A Midsummer Night's Dream and Pearmain a Westside Story style version of Romeo and Juliet.   Parents were very complimentary, and the children certainly had a wonderful time. A four year old told Mrs Heap in assembly that he loved Shakespeare.
