Dear Parents,

I am sure that you are all wondering about our staffing arrangements for September.   I just want to reassure you that Mr. T. and I have liaised extensively over this, and both feel we have put in place an excellent structure for the school.

Firstly, just to confirm that Mr T. will be Acting Head teacher in the first instance. This will ensure the greatest continuity for the children returning after this very strange few months.

Little Pips are lucky to have Sarah Henson, who will step up from Deputy Supervisor to Supervisor. She will have Jude Paddison as her Deputy. Sarah Lambert and Karly Pavey will continue to be key workers in the setting.

Pip Rix has kindly agreed to teach Lambrook (Reception) until the Headship is sorted.   This will enable Mr T. to carry out his role as Acting Head teacher. Pip has worked with Mr T. in Reception before, and has the same philosophy.   She will be supported by Jess Bates.

Camelot (Year 1 and Year 2) will have Mr Davies full time. He has willingly agreed to cover Dani Tooth's maternity leave. Mr. T. will teach alternate Fridays in Camelot. The Teaching Assistant will be Jayne Byrne.

Russet (Year 3 and Year 4) will be taught by Ali McDonnell. She is really excited about the prospect of a new challenge. It is always healthy to have a change.    She will be supported by Jess Western.

Pearmain (Year 5 and Year 6) will be taught by Ben Balsom. He is equally excited to have a new challenge. He will be supported by Gabe Brooke, Vanessa Crisp, and Briony Carter, who will return from maternity leave.

Coach Gemma will continue to cover PPA on Thursdays.

We are delighted to have the necessary funding to continue with a four class structure, and a generous Teaching Assistant allocation.   Much thought has been put into this plan. I am sure it will make for a very exciting year.

Warmest wishes,

Michelle
