Message from Michelle 10

Morning everyone,

I can’t tell you how excited I am that we shall see some of you on Wednesday. We are busy getting ready, and have all of the resources that we need to make the school environment as safe as possible.

We are lucky being a small school with lovely big rooms and our adorable outdoor space. I am hoping that it isn’t going to feel too different for the children. I am sure they are now brilliant at hand washing and will understand as far as they can that we have to ‘social distance’. Obviously that will look different in Little Pips compared to Year 6.

Please refer back to previous message for more details. Just a few things to add. Please can the children bring their lunches in disposable bags rather than lunchboxes. This will reduce things going backwards and forwards. They will need a clearly named water bottle that will need to go home each day to be cleaned. When warm, apply sun cream and send in hats. Clean clothes each day. I would suggest the sort of thing they would wear for a play date so they can do outside activities.
Of course we won’t be seeing you all. Some year groups are not yet included, and some of you are not yet comfortable to send your little people back. We totally respect that, and don’t want you to feel forgotten. The teachers will continue to put work on the website, and by all means ring in if you have any questions.
We will be working hard on Monday and Tuesday to have everything 100% ready.
Have a lovely weekend.

Lots of love,

Michelle x
