On Monday morning, Camelot Class had a fantastic time at Forest School with Lisa! The session was packed with exciting activities that encouraged creativity, teamwork, and a love for the outdoors. The children began by exploring the natural environment, discovering the beauty of the forest and all it has to offer.
They then took on the challenge of building floating boats using only natural and renewable materials. Their designs were incredibly imaginative, and we were so impressed with the effort and thought they put into their creations.
Next, the children worked together to build and light a fire, demonstrating excellent teamwork and perseverance. Once the fire was crackling, they used it to toast delicious marshmallows – a real treat after a busy morning!
The creative energy continued as they used flowers and leaves to make beautiful fabric prints. With careful hammering, they pressed the natural materials into fabric, producing colourful and unique patterns that amazed them.
It was a truly enriching session filled with hands-on learning, exploration, and joy in nature.
