In Camelot Class we have been investigating the coast around the UK. We have explored features of the coast and considered if these are are human features (made by humans) or physical features (made by nature). After this we looked at aerial maps with a key and how these can help us find out about the coast before we visit. Our geographical skills were extended when we found out about coastal erosion and the impact this can have on the features of the seaside over time.

Our learning about the coastline then focussed on the RNLI. We explored the work of this important charity and how they can help keep people safe at the seaside. We also thought about the seaside and how we can stay safe at the seaside by learning about the safety signs and flags at the seaside.
