Camelot Class have been practising our art skills to create our own interpretations of flower heads. We started our artistic journey by gaining inspiration from other artists who have created art work including flower heads. Our particular favourites were pieces of art by Japanese artist Azuma Makoto and also Vincent Van Gogh’s Sunflowers. We then practised and refined our sketching skills ready for our final piece of work. During our observations, we carefully thought about the shape and form of our chosen flowers.
We then created our final piece by carefully sketching and then painting our creations. The children’s final pieces of work were amazing. Camelot Class became an art gallery to give us the opportunity to show off our pieces of work to each other. Please look at our fantastic final pieces in the attached pictures.
