Lambrook Class went on an important trip for our recent geography learning journey. We needed to explore Street to help us with comparing the two localities of Baltonsborough and Street to answer our key question: Would you prefer to live in Baltonsborough or Street?.

To help our learning to answer our key question, we conducted some geography fieldwork such as tallying vehicles, finding out what kind of shops Street had (I think the Haribo shop was a fan-favourite) and drawing a feature that we had seen. We had wonderful drawings of the tall Clarks Village chimney, Greenbank swimming pool as well as the zebra crossing we had to safely cross!

There were lots of examples of children showcasing our valuable character traits during this trip, such as compassion and responsibility, as children used the public bus and helped each other buy their own bus tickets, as well as making sure all of our rubbish was put in the bin after our picnic in the sunshine!
