This half-term we are in the full flow of our Geography and Science Learning Journeys. We have just come to the end of our Geography unit and the children have written some fantastic texts answering the question “What are the challenges living in different parts of the world?” – The pupils have had such pride in their work since introducing them to the wonders of journalling.

We have just moved onto our new Science unit looking at materials and states of matter – The children are very much looking forward to this unit because their end goal is to write an informative report to the governors of our school detailing which materials should be considered most when purchasing a new equipment storage area in our own playground. Even from the first lesson, the pupils have been very excited – Knowing their ideas will have a direct impact on our school environment.
